Practical information

Date and places.

The colloquium will take place in Caen and at the Centre Culturel International de Cerisy-la-Salle (http://www.ccic-cerisy.asso.fr/) from May 23 to 27, 2026. Accommodation costs will be covered as much as possible; however, participants will be responsible for their travel expenses. Participants are strongly encouraged to stay for the entire duration of the conference in order to foster discussions and exchanges.

Modalities for submitting proposals.

Presentations will be 40 minutes long and will primarily be given in French. English is accepted, but presenters must provide either a printed handout or a slideshow in French (the organisers can assist in the preparation of this material). Additionally, we encourage those presenting in French to provide an English-language handout for non-French-speaking attendees.

Proposals for presentations must be submitted no later than October, 1st. They should include a clear title, an abstract in French of between 1,500 and 3,000 characters (approximately 250-300 words), and a brief biography of the author and their research. Proposals should be sent by email to both organizers. Selected presenters will be notified by the end of 2025.

Junior researchers are strongly encouraged to apply.
